Absolutely love shredding The Moose!!! The hill and runs are great, ski patrol is on top of it, lodge is cozy and well staffed. I almost knocked off a star for pricing, but I couldn't do that to my favorite ski resort :D. While the day pass is an appropriate rate, I think that the half day and "skinning only" tickets are overpriced in comparison. Do they even offer half day any more? Update: Thanks for the response! I thought prime time was "half day," but I'm only ever there at opening so I guess I had my facts wrong. The bus driver situation makes sense and I hadn't thought of it that way. Rock on.

Practiced before going up. We are beginners. The green line seems doesn't go back to the lodge on the map. The blue line was quite challenging for us, but we had a great time. The lady operating the rope is super friendly and helpful. Don't forget to get a helmet.

We came here New Years Eve and couldn't have finished off 2022 any better than with a day of snowboarding at one of our most favorite places. Moose Mountain is definitely not for beginners unless you are accompanied by someone somewhat experienced. But there are so many different trails you can take and not be bound by one way you take. The resort offers a bus to transport you to the top of the mountain so you don't have to worry about going up a lift. Tickets aren't too expensive considering how much I've seen resort tickets before, and it'll be well worth your time to check out Moose Mountain!

Great little mountain! Good variety of trails, beautiful scenery. Really nice helpful staff and relaxed, low-key family environment. Getting the bus uphill rather than a lift was a 1st for us, but worked well, met and chatted to some interesting people. More social than a cold chairlift. Actually I faceplanted and broke my arm the day we were there, and the ski patrol were awesome, totally skilled and professionnal. Thanks all!

Fairbanks born skiers know that nothing compares to cruising up on the bus and down those crisp sunny tundra turns. Rentals and food available on-site but feel free to bring what you need to boogie all day!

Had a blast in the snow visiting this place! Front desk had the best vibe! We stayed on the beginners track and had so much fun, next time we’ll take the bus and snowboard harder! Thanks! 100 % recommended

Nice place and great people who own it. It was warm at the lodge today, Valentines Day. Was hovering at +40. Summer heat, we are wearing T-shirts. It won't last for long. The below zero Temps arrive again in a few nights. This ski slope doesn't have a chair lift. They have nice warm buses to take you back up top. It's really nice on a normal below zero day and need somewhere to warm up before heading back down. They have rentals for all people and all types of equipment. Fun times, I suggest you visit Moose Mountain ski area, bring the whole family.

Fun spot to ski, super close to the city. Rental equipment available. Ski lift is a bus, runs every 10 minutes. Takes about 12 minutes to get to the top. Good variety of slopes, but only a few for beginners. Their blues are somewhat easy, with the right level of challenging. Snacks, coffee, etc are available in the lodge - but no real food. Consider bringing your own!
